Where Bloggers Create 2015

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my little space
in Blogland !!
First of all
Thank you so, so much Karen Valentine
for hosting this wonderful event
The Where Bloggers Create Party 2015.

My name is Wilma, I'm honored
that you take time to visit my blog,
to see my creative space.
This is my second time I participate,
in 2013 was my first and
if you'd like to see the make over,
by Mr.B.,
of our attic to my work space

Last year my Mr. B.
made a dream come true
by adding a lot of shelves
to my work table.
You see the result in the pictures
that I want to share with you.

I'm not going to do a lot of text,
and really hope you'll feel at home :)

here we go........

                                   Above containers with things
                                            I made to sell.

The 'chocolate' cakes I made for centerpieces......

In this wicker basket I keep lots of fabric snippets,
find it hard to throw them away...... :)

Love to alter perfume bottles, there are some
lovely friends that save their empty bottles
                                                        for me.....

The book is a work in progress
                                         it contains little thriftshop finds,
that I have for years and didn't know where
                                                     to put them
                                              a ' junk book ' to be....... : )
Hope to show you in a later post
                                                  when it's finished........

the man in the photo seems to be family,
from a long looong time ago,
but no one knows who he was.............
well, kinda weird photo anyway  LOL

This desk with the (white) sewing machine
is the one my father made his sermons at.
He passed away in 1973 and I'm
very happy to have this memory.

an other work in progress...it's an old jewelry box.....

Some decoupage on the Ikea drawers....

This crazy quilt block is the result
of a CQ course I did some months ago.
It was given by Kathy Shaw, to see her blog

                    Hope you enjoyed.............

  27. Hi Wilma! Your studio is the sweetest little space ever!!! Thank you so much for sharing it with everyone. I think that decoupaged Ikea cabinet is brilliant!! ... Just a little note. You linked up your blog address to the party and not the actual post address. That's not a problem until you go to do another post and then anyone still looking at the link list will have to search for your blog. You might want to link up again but use the actual post link (you get that by clicking on the tile of the post and then copying that address for the link) Once you do that, please let me know and I will remove the first link. I believe people still come and look at the party links long after the party is over and they will never find your post if you dont change it. :)

  28. Hi Wilma,

  43. Wilma, thanks for sharing your sweet space with SYC.

  44. So much goodness in your space at the top of your house. Lovely and inspirational. Gorgeous view too. Keep smiling and creating. I love all your carefully organized bits and bobs.

  45. You have a very pretty space. My favorite thing is the vintage scrapbook, even if the picture is a bit unique!

  46. Thanks for sharing your creative space , it's beautiful. I love the white, really good in small space, you have lots of (fabulously ordered) stuff in your room, but it doesn't look too full or cluttered. My room is at the top of the house too, and like you, the view out of the window is of roof tops and the sky. I like the idea of your journal filled with finds you don't know what to use for, sometimes it's the object rather than what you can do with it is what catches your fancy, but you can't leave behind at the shop etc. I have a few of those buys myself. Thanks again for the look into your making world.

  47. Hi Wilma,
I was missing you and thought maybe that I had missed your posts! I hope that you are well and I look forward to visiting when you make it back. Your lovely space looks so inviting and neatly organized. You have many beautiful things to create with. The little hanky box is so sweet and I was charmed by the decoupage on the Ikea drawers. And your chocolate cake centerpieces are so pretty and creative!

    Many blessings to you,

  48. Royal Blue Perfume has become an intrinsic part of our daily lives. It is a part of our identity. Think of an ordinary day and all the different smell sensations, the zesty invigorating shower gel, the familiarity of a personal perfume, the fresh-washed smell of just washed clothes, the citrus tang of the dish-wash liquid, the relaxing night massage oil.s

  49. Lieve Wilma,

Wat heb jij een heerlijke werkplek!
Alles ziet er zo sfeervol uit...

Ik kom je een hele fijne Kerst wensen
    en een prachtig 2016!

    Lieve groetjes,

  50. Wilma,
I'm looking at your space again....and love it every time I look! your CQ box top is just gorgeous, i think you and I are on the same wavelength girl, but we knew that already! I've really enjoyed the CQ i've done this year. I really should finish those purses and blog about it!
Someday I will be organized in my room! maybe I'll set a goal for that! and DO IT! I'll have to see when the 2016 party is...".Oh, Karen..."
